EDMC Mechanical was founded by Ed, whose journey began in the small town of West Cork, Ireland. Growing up in a hardworking community, Ed started his career in a local quarry, where he developed a deep passion for machinery and hands-on work. In January 2018, he made the bold decision to move to Australia in pursuit of new opportunities in the mining industry. Starting as an HD Fitter, Ed’s dedication and attention to detail quickly earned him a promotion to supervisor, where he gained valuable experience managing teams and building strong relationships across the industry.

In 2022, Ed took the leap to start EDMC Mechanical, driven by a desire to offer reliable, honest services that truly understand the needs of mining and civil operations. He didn’t start big, but with his reputation for hard work and precision, the company grew quickly. By focusing on building trust with every client, Ed’s business saw rapid expansion, especially from the beginning of 2023.
